“ Everything was great . We started with a drink and shrimp cocktail which was cooked perfectly and the horseradish sauce was the best we've had. We were there for the early bird menu and had salads along with chicken milanese & chopped steak. The portions were very large and excellent. Our server Gus A did an awesome job, was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. ”
“ 10/10 I went here for my birthday dinner and it was fabulous. Pam was an excellent waitress. The steak, asparagus, and augratin potatoes were phenomenal. They gave me a little dessert with a candle to honor my birthday and a birthday card signed by all the staff. I felt like we got top treatment. Love the overall aesthetic of the restaurant too! ”
“ We attended an anniversary dinner here for close friends, as always Hyde Park Prime Steakhouses delivers, the restaurant was surprisingly empty but again with was a Thursday night and like most people I think this is more of a special occasion destination. We arrived a few minutes prior to our reservation and were greeted by the hostess and the manager so the experience started out as expected which is nothing less than exceptional. Our table was ready and there was no wait, the atmosphere here speaks of an elegant fine dining experience. Our servers welcomed us and ensured we were familiar with the Hyde Park experience, although this was my first visit to this location I have dined at a number of other locations. We all ordered cocktails as our water glasses were filled and a great selection of breads were set on the table. The cocktails were delivered quickly and were perfect with generous pours. The service here was attentive and outstanding, our servers were long term employees and definitely well versed in fine dining and they completely exceeded our expectations. We all ordered shared meals center cut filets, wedge salads, and loaded baked potatoes even though there are so many tempting options. The steaks were perfect, very high quality and definitely prepared to melt in your mouth, the wedge was perfect and the crusted loaded baked potatoes is a must have. It was the perfect evening in every way, the prices are what they are but the value of the entire experience made this a real bargain including validated valet parking. We didn't participate but there are some amazing happy hour specials, today's visit was definitely a 5 star experience and a place we plan to return to again and again... ”
“ Wonderful anniversary dinner. Food was excellent opening with the indescribably delicious lobster escargot. Also had shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad, and calamari, as well as 2 Chilean sea bass (ordered separate ways, and twin lobster tails). Yes, we overdid it. Our server was wonderfully attentive and the general manager Sean was gracious as well. ”
“ We sat in the bar and grazed. Espresso martini hit the mark. Mule was everything it should be. Switched to super Tuscan wine, 3$ off in happy hour. Rhonda our server was excellent! Chopped salad, a half salad was satisfying. I liked the way the eggs and everything were chopped small, one bite would have every element. Dressing just right - not too much. Shrimp cocktail, big shrimp and nice cocktail sauce, not plain ketchup. Sliders, larger patties char grilled and good combination of flavors. Sirloin one, could tell it was chopped steak. Tuna wontons not what I expected. Ahi nachos. Still good and well played. Guacamole and poke are a good match. Ambience was busy bar with competent and efficient team. Nice view of the beach. Sliders above average. ”
“ My husband and I had the most amazing dinner for Valentine's Day. We started off with drinks and apps; I ordered the spicy strawberry margarita and he had the smoked old fashion. My margarita wasn't too spicy but had a nice enjoyable kick to make it different than a regular, still very good flavor. His old fashion was quite the show. It came out in a glass box, when opened smoke came out and left the drink with a great Smokey flavor but not over powering. We started with the calamari. Also very good but not like your average calamari with the Asian zing sauce they put on it. We loved it! Now for the best part. The steaks. I ordered the 8 oz filet mignon. I'm not usually adventurous with how I like my steak cooked but we're at a fancy steak house for Valentine's Day so I would expect that they know how to cook a good steak without killing me. Boy was I right. I ordered medium rare (recommended by our server) and was very happy with my decision. It was perfectly cooked. So tender I could have cut it with a spoon. Also an overall good piece of steak for being one of the cheaper options on their steak menu. My husband ordered the filet mignon as well but bone in and he said his was probably one of the best steaks he's ever eaten. The meat options do not come with sides but they are family style so we ordered 2; a veggie and a starch because we both wanted to try something different. We ended up with the lobster mac and Brussels sprouts. The lobster mac had good size pieces of lobster in it - well worth it. I'm a New England gal so most of the time I'm disappointed in the amount of seafood in my Mac and cheese but this was worth it! The Brussels sprouts were also good. Not crispy like usual but paired with their giant pieces of bacon were the perfect flavor combo. Our waiter was amazing and gave us the best advice for being Hyde Park first timers. He was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk too. Although it was a busy night we felt very taken care of and not rushed at all. Because of the night that it was, we always expect to be rushed out and sometimes not the best meal. But I feel like they did an amazing job with keeping the amount of people around us to a minimum where we could still hear each other to talk and have conversation. All night there was a constant flow of people but yet still open tables around us like they weren't trying to crush in as many people as they could at once - I appreciated that. The night was perfect for Valentine's Day with some rose petals on the table and dim lighting. I'm so glad we chose here to spend as our first Valentine's Day married!!! ”
“ One of the best steakhouses I've been to hands down. We were visiting from Fort Lauderdale for the weekend. Our servers Liz and Bruce provided exceptional service! Shout out to them! Inside the restaurant was so elegant and upscale. They had music of all genre playing in the background. The food was an easy 10/10. We had ordered the Salmon, lobster mac and cheese and a side of roasted garlic potato and the star of the show the bone in Ribeye. Everything was well seasoned and delicious! The Mac and cheese was cheesy and gooey. The Salmon was cooked perfectly- very tender and flaky. I can't wait to visit again. ”
